ADD/ADHA
You are not lazy or stupid, you just do things differently. Typically, organization is a tool that helps an ADD/ADHD person manage challenges day to day. Ironically, it is the most difficult skill for many ADD/ADHD to master. Remedease™ teaches strategies to overcome this challenge and reduce the stress and depression commonly attributed to living in a structured world with a global imagination.
OCD/OCPD
Most people think of Obsesssive Compulsive Disorder as an ailment that causes people to be excessively neat or exhibit repetitive behaviors. Actually, one-third of this population suffers from hoarding or compulsive shopping or ‘dumpster diving’. The need to have is the compulsion. It takes unique skills to understand the challenges working with OCP/OCPD. It is a slower process and not always easy to overcome or improve the situation. Remedease™ has extensive experience working with OCD/OCPD individuals and the medical and governmental professionals who are involved in the treatment of OCD/OCPD. We use a collaborative approach that respects the rights of the individual and the treatment they are pursuing.
Other
There are other unusual challenges that make organization difficult for some. Physical alignments, depression and mental ailments may also hinder organization. These are areas that Remedease™ has collaborated with professionals to develop a comprehensive plan for individuals who struggle with these hurdles.
